Brown's Early Learning School
“Play is children’s work”.
All young children need and deserve high-quality learning experiences embedded in play. When young children experience positive opportunities in a nurturing environment, it helps them to develop their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical abilities.
In 1972, Pattie Brown founded Brown's Day Care Center now known as Brown's Early Learning School, and the goal was to provide a high quality preschool experience in a warm and loving home like environment. More than forty years later this mother daughter team is continuing the initial dream. Under the leadership of Ms. Cheryl Brown, Pattie Brown’s daughter, monumental gains have been made to ensure that the initial vision continues and that it also encompasses the ever-changing needs of what true quality care is for young children. Since 2003 Brown’s has participated in the state funded preschool program NC Pre-K which is designed to prepare 4-year-olds to be successful in Kindergarten.
